The PTO is happy to announce the return of the LOOK! program. LOOK! (formerly Famous Artist) is designed to provide visual and creative literacy arts education to young children through learning about famous artists and their works.
Typically, parent docents attend a training session at the Rye Arts Center and then share what they learned with a class at Midland and lead the kids in a project related to the theme. Now, of course, this is being offered virtually.
This fall the theme is Self Portraits and we have two presentations (one recommended for grades K-2 and one for 3-5) plus a short tutorial on how to draw your own self portrait. Click on the links below (note: these cannot be opened if you are logged into a RCSD account).
